BMW Group Asia partners Audatex to implement Estimation and Management Claims

BMW Group Asia has announced that it has reached an agreement with Audatex, the leading global provider of software and services for automobile insurance claims processing, to implement the Audatex Estimation and Claims Management platform across all BMW and MINI dealerships in the East Asia region
The partnership will enable BMW Group Asia to standardize its collision repair estimation and claims processes throughout its independent, full-line dealer network. Audatex currently partners with BMW in a similar capacity in more than 20 markets across the globe, including Germany, Spain, China and South Africa. Through a centralised web-based platform, Audatex’s Estimation and Claims Management Solution will benefit BMW’s customers, dealers and insurance partners alike.

Through the partnership, BMW customers will enjoy greater transparency in the repair process through the application of BMW standards during collision repair estimation. In addition, BMW dealers & repair facilities will benefit from increased productivity and reduced turnaround time needed to settle claims with their insurance partners, while insurers & assessors will also benefit from the availability of data on BMW repair operations and parts, thereby increasing the accuracy of the estimate and reducing claims cycle time needed.

“As BMW Group Asia continues to experience significant growth in sales in the region, we are excited to work with them to create value through the launch of Audatex automotive insurance claims platform in their dealerships throughout East Asia. We are confident that we will deliver the same high ROI we provide BMW in other markets throughout the world,” said Mr Satish Maripuri, Regional Managing Director of Audatex, Asia Pacific.

“Quality is synonymous with the BMW Group brand. With this partnership, we firmly believe that the improved estimation process coupled with accurate sourcing of parts and reduced negotiation time with our insurance partners will serve to enhance our existing process and improve overall customer service,” said Mr Neil Fiorentinos, Managing Director, BMW Group Asia.
